2009 brought four-time Grammy Award nominee Keith Urban his most successful concert tour to date, his second consecutive #1 Billboard Top 200 and Country CD Defying Gravity, two more #1 singles (bringing his total to eleven), his 5^th Academy of Country Music Award, his 6^th CMA Award and his first American Music Award.  Last night Urban marked yet another milestone in his career winning his first fan-voted People’s Choice Award for Favorite (All Genre) Male Artist.

Next stop for Urban, the 52^nd Annual Grammy Awards, where he’s nominated for Best Country Album (Defying Gravity), Best Male Country Vocal Performance (“Sweet Thing”), Best Country Collaboration with Brad Paisley for “Start A Band,” and Best Long Form Music Video for Love, Pain & the Whole Crazy Thing from 2008’s “Love, Pain and the whole crazy World Tour”, concert tour.
